Join Carol Reents at the Frankfort Community Public Library to learn more about U.S. Highway 421. Reents will trace the path of the highway from its origin in North Carolina to its terminus near Lake Michigan in Indiana. She will discuss the history of the highway and its importance to the Indiana communities along its route. Reents is a lifelong resident of Clinton County and the “permanent” president of the Kirklin Alumni. As president, she has given presentations on the history of Kirklin High School, Clinton Central High School, and Kirklin Township in addition to U.S. Highway 421. This Clinton County Genealogical Society meeting is free and open to the public. It will be held in the Library’s lower level meeting room. Registration is not required. For more information, contact Jill Garrison at (765) 654-8746, ext. 1137 or jgarrison@myfcpl.org.
